• Go to the Task Manager and have a click on the Process tab

If the following processes are running, then have a right-click on each one, and then click on the End task after you choose each process.

• setup*.exe

Step 6: Delete the MS Office files

• Go to the Windows logo key + R to open the Run dialog box.
• In the Open box, enter the %Program Files%, and then click on OK.
• Delete the Microsoft Office 16 folder.
• Open the Run dialog box and enter %Program Files(x86)%, and then have a click on OK button.
• Again, Delete the Microsoft Office folder.

Step 7: Eliminate the MS office registry sub keys

• Go to the Registry Editor.
• Delete the following registry sub keys:
• HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Office\ClickToRun
• HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\AppVISV
• HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Office
• Delete the MS office key

Step 8: Download and install the MS office

• Go to the “My Account” page
• Select the option of Install.
• Click on the option of Run or the equivalent depending on the browser that you’re using.
• When you see that you are good to go, click on the option of All done.
